Face the Holiday

My parents went out,
desperately bored,
hmm, what else?

Tomorrow going school,
got "Perkampungan Ilmu",
something like holiday classes,
....
Other school got organize trips,
but my school organize these things,
good or bad?

Anyway, I'm off to Mid Valley after that,
of course, with my friends as well,
gonna watch Star Trek,
eww, hate the guy with the mushroom hairstyle.

Okay, thats it.
A Short update [or maybe not]

Isolated

I did not go school today,
today is Teacher's Day somemore,
lazy or sleezy? You decide it and yes,
I didn't appreciate my teacher,
Not even once it came to my thought.

Whats worse?
I'm not going to DP's IU as well,
none of my friends going,
if I go, I'll be like a retard,
like how I endured in TD's IU,
I'll be in deepsh*t,
and I hate the feeling of being alone,
when you're trying to fit in with strangers,
these two thing is P in the A

Decided Future

When school ends,
I'm gonna disappear from all my friends,
schoolmates as well as tuition mates,
except a few people after school ends.

I'm gonna fly somewhere,
where I keep a low profile,
where nobody knows me,
I hate my childhood moments.

I hate everybody in my childhood,
many contributed to my hatred,
I thank them with fading away,
I'm forever unworthy to the public.

I'm having trouble controlling my anger,
I just don't know why, very troubled,
Recently I've swear many times already,
seriously, where is my old self?

Mumbai Man's Prank Call

Today was totally boring,
I've stayed home instead of going out,
because that Kishen havent email me
those sivik stuff,
and guess what? Internet connection!
The whole day! The ADSL light,
blink and blink and blink,
it keep on lagging and lagging,
resulted me unable to access the Internet.

But heres a twist to my day,
an Indian guy called me at one something,
its kinda funny how to conversation goes,
and how stupid of me to trust him completely.

Here is how the conversation went....

?? : Is this Alan?
[This voice is so familiar to me]

Me: Err, yeah.

??: Its written here, you've participated in a UM's
camp.

Me: Since when?

??: But its written here, you're contact number is
016-912XXXX right? [Woah! He even got my number]

Me: Err, yea, but if my memory serves me right,
I've never filled any form participating in camps.

??: I know, but its written here, Ong SXX LXXng,
with the contact number I've said just now. And,
do you know whose Jonathan?
[Ok, this is getting serious, Jonathan's name is included]

Me: ....Ok...This is weird. And yes,
Jonathan is my friend.

??: His details were written here as well.

Me: What! .....*sigh*
Whatever it is, can I know when is the camp?

??: Its on the 30th May to 1st of June.

Me: Is this the "Perkampungan Ilmu"?

??: No, this is UM Camp.
[I am starting to believe about this,
cause maybe my mum filled that form you see]

Me: Ok, could you call me later? I wanna ask my mum
about this. And I don't think I'm participating that camp.
[Realising this, that guy continue his topic]

??: If you're not participating, then the RM100
you've paid won't be refund to you. You sure?
[What the? Since when I've paid RM100?]

Me: ...Since when I've paid RM100?

[He change topic again]
??: Do you know Kishen? Kishen A/L Gunalan?

Me: Yea, he is my class monitor. Anything?

??: His name is here too.
You'll need to inform him as well about this.

Me: Oh, okay. Can I call you later?
I'll tell Jonathan and Kishen about this.

??: Okok, you can inform Jonathan about that.
But Kishen? Don't you think its abit late?

Me: Why?

Bully

Yong: Good Morning to my English teacher, Pn.Sheela, the members of the panel, and fellow classmate. Today, I, Yong Chin Meng, as the head of this forum is gonna discuss about bullying case. Firstly, I would like to introduce the member of the panel, Mr Daniel, Mr.Alan and Mr.Vincent. Good Morning, everybody.

Panel: Good Morning.

Yong: As you can see, bullying case is getting more drastic and also a serious offence. A lot of bullying cases had been reported in the newspaper. Not only it happens inside the school, but as well as outside of the school.Places like dark alley or a place where it is not visible to passerby is the main place where cases like bully occurs. Mr.Daniel, what do you think about the source of bullying case happen and getting out of control?

Daniel: In my opinion, I believe that bully starts in the school. The main cause of bullying are the students who try to fit in with the wrong group in school. They were forced to bully so that their friends will accept him into their groups.

Yong: What do you think about this situation, Mr.Alan?

Alan: I, as a student always wanted to fit in with my friends, but due to my background, I was always cast aside by my friends. As the result, I started bullying to act cool while hoping my friends will accept me into their group.

Yong: Do you have any opinion about the source of bullying case happen, Mr.Vincent?

Vincent: Violence on TV is a very big influence, particularly the wrestling and fighting shows. Also, there can also be kids, who might try doing stunts on people at school after watching those shows. This is because they've believed its cool. Besides that, there are parents that encourage their children to fight to look cool.

Yong: According to Mr.Daniel and Mr.Alan, the source originates from the students who try to fit in whereas Mr.Vincent's opinion is from television programme influences. Another question in my mind, what method should be used to solve these bullying cases? Ways that can at least reduce a percentage of this case.

Daniel: To me, I think that bullying can be solved by making the students undergo counselling. I believe that the school counsellor are experienced enough to change the way the students' behave and think from negative point o view to a positive point of view. In this way, the school will be a better and safer place for all students.

Alan: In my own personal opinion, I think the problem originates from the parents. I, myself were always neglected from my parents in my daily life. They've never care about me. All they do is just work and work and work. Therefore, I think that parents should spent more time with their children. The children deserves to have love from their parents.

Vincent: I agree with Alan. However, the students itself should take their own initiative as well. They must find out what's wrong and whats right for themselves. They should think rational because kids don't take bullying case seriously. Therefore, bullying must be stop before more lives are taken.

Yong: Thats true. Parents influences towards their children is great. It leads them to a brighter future or maybe a future in darkness. Therefore, parents, teachers, and students must unite to stop these cases from spreading. Finally, I would like to thank Pn.Sheela for listening and the members of the panel for spenidng time with me in this forum. Thank you.

Yong: Selamat Sejahtera saya ucapkan kepada guru Bahasa Melayu, Pn.Suguna, ahli-ahli panel dan penonton yang dihormati. Pada pagi yang mulia ini, saya, Yong Chin Meng, sebagai pengerusi forum ini akan membincangkan kes-kes buli yang semakin berleluasa di negara kita. Sebagai permulaan, saya ingin memperkenalkan ahli-ahli panel kita iaitu, En.Vincent, seorang polis wakil daripada OCPD Petaling Jaya, En.Daniel, seorang guru daripada SMK LA SALLE PJ dan En.Alan, pelajar sekolah SMK LA SALLE. Yong: Seperti yang kita tahu, tajuk pada pagi ini adalah mengenai kes buli. Kes ini membawa maksud masalah yang meliputi kegiatan memeras ugut, menumbuk, menghina dan sebagainya. Pelbagai kes buli telah dilaporkan dalan akhbar-akhbar dari dulu hingga sekarang. Apakah pandangan En.Vincent dalam hal ini?

Vincent: Sememangnya kes buli di negara kita semakin berleluas. Laporan mengenai kes buli semakin meningkat tahun demi tahun. Terdapat juga kategori kes buli yang berkaitan dengan kes bunuh diri.

Yong: Terima kasih atas pandangan En.Vincent. Bagaimana pula dengan tempat berlakunya kejadian buli? Di manakah perkara seperti kes buli biasanya berlaku? Bolehkah En.Daniel memberitahu kita pandangan anda?

Daniel: Ya. Biasanya, kes buli berlaku di dalam kawasan sekolah. Tempat yang sunyi seperti tandas, kawasan di belakang dewan atau tempat di mana jarang terdapat pelajar atau guru melalui tempat tersebut.

Yong: Berdasarkan pengalaman En.Alan, yang pernah menjadi mangsa buli, apakah pandangan anda tentang tempat kejadian kes buli berlaku?

Alan: Pada pandangan saya, kes buli boleh berlaku di kawasan luar sekolah. Kawasan seperti lorong yang sunyi atau tempat yang jarang dilalui oleh orang ramai. Kebiasaannya, kes buli terjadi pada waktu selepas sekolah tamat atau pada waktu malam.

Yong: Adakah En.Vincent bersetuju dengan kedua-dua pandangan mereka?

Vincent: Ya, saya setuju. Peratusan kedua-dua tempat berlaku kes buli adalah hampir sama.

Yong: Terima kasih atas pandangan anda sekalian. Kes buli boleh berlaku di mana-mana tidak kira di dalam atau luar kawasan sekolah. Terdapat banyak tempat lagi yang berpotensi dijadikan lokasi untuk menjalankan pembulian. Balik kepada forum kita, En.Daniel, pada pandangan anda, apakah yang menyumbang kepada kes buli dan cara untuk menyelesaikannya?

Daniel: Pada pandangan saya, kes buli bermula dari sekolah. Punca yang terutama ialah pelajar sanggup membuli untuk masuk ke dalam kumpulan samseng. Mereka juga terpaksa membuli supaya mereka diterima oleh kumpulan mereka. Justeru, saya rasa kes buli boleh diselesaikan dengan membawa pembuli tersebut untuk kaunseling. Saya percaya bahawa kaunselor SMK LA SALLE amat berpengalaman dalam hal ini. Sekolah juga akan menjadi satu tempat yang selamat untuk semua pelajar.

Yong: Bagaimana dengan pendapat En.Alan?

Alan: Saya, sebagai seorang pelajar selalu ingin menyertai kumpulan gangster kawan saya. Walaubagaimanapun, saya tidak diterima kerana latar belakang saya yang baik. Selain itu, saya juga selalu diketepikan oleh mereka. Justeru, saya mula membuli untuk membuktikan kehebatan saya kepada kumpulan tersebut. Oleh itu, saya berasa punca kes buli adalah dari ibu bapa. Saya, sebagai seorang anak mereka, tidak pernah mendapat perhatian dari mereka. Ibubapa saya tidak pernah mempedulikan saya. Pada pandangan saya, ibubapa harus meluangkan lebih banyak masa kepada anak mereka. Anak seorang ibubapa harus diberikan kasih sayang kerana mereka layak mendapatkannya.

Vincent: Saya setuju dengan Alan. Walaubagaimanapun, seorang pelajar juga harus mengambil inisiatif untuk bertaubat. Mereka harus fikir secara rasional kerana kebanyakan mereka tidak dapat membezakan apa yang baik dan apa yang jahat, contohnya, kes buli.

Yong: Memang benar pendapat ahli panel. Ibubapa memainkan peranan yang penting dalam kehidupan anak mereka. Masa depan anak mereka terletak dalam tangan ibubapa mereka. Justeru, sebagai ibubapa, guru, dan pelajar, kita harus bekerjasama untuk membanteras kes buli sebelum nasi menjadi bubur. Saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Pn.Suguna yang sanggup meluangkan masa untuk mendengar forum ini dan ahli panel yang telah mengemukakan pandangan mereka. Terima kasih.

I'm sitting public bus starting from Monday,
*sigh* I wonder how my time will be wasted,
plus the bus I'll be waiting is U73,
which comes to a stop once every hour.

I'm depressed with my talkative behaviour,
the more I talk, the lamer it gets.
And people nowadays cannot tolerate this,
especially lame-sensitive people in my tuition,
abit abit lame, abit abit irritated.
